More (unconfirmed) titles: The Love Guru and Shine a Light

Hmm … is Paramount doing some heavy compensating with regards to Blu-ray, or are they just happy to see us? Two more Paramount BD titles just popped up on Amazon.com: Shine a Light
And yes, both of these BDs are sporting the same price tag as Iron Man ($27.95), and yes, you guessed it, no release date. In any case, if you’ve got any interest in either of these films, click on through. If I hear anything that explains why these titles are already up on Amazon.com, I’ll be sure to keep y’all posted.

I’m guessing most movies will be out on Blu Ray at some time or another, so it’s not really too much of a surprise.

Yep, home video releases are indeed almost inevitable, but I think this is the first time (for me at least) that such releases are announced with a definite price tag and available for order while they’re still showing on the big screens (e.g., Iron Man, Shine a Light) or yet to be shown (The Love Guru).
And since there’s been no official word from Paramount as far as I can tell, I consider all these announcements unconfirmed.
But I don’t deny I get a thrill when I hear about such things. I’ll be posting some more unofficial news soon. Stay tuned!
