"Cool Hand Luke" and "One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest" on Blu
2008 May 22
Miracle of miracles, I actually found time to watch The Color of Money last night. This means I have no excuse not to produce my planned reviews of this film and also The Hustler by next week.
Speaking of which, I’m quite excited about the Blu-ray release of Cool Hand Luke—just can’t get enough of Paul Newman movies—and also One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest.
Given Warner’s track record with restoring and remastering catalog films for home video releases, especially on Blu-ray (e.g., Blade Runner,
Bonnie and Clyde,
and The Searchers
), I’m confident these two classics will be given the best treatment currently available. Here’s the cover art just out:
Now back to work on my Iron Man review …
