Battlestar Galactica: Some cool stuff (and some not so cool news)

This is for those of you who followed the original Battlestar Galactica (1978) and are also a fan of the current BSG. I’m one of those who love the design of original Cylon Centurions and Raiders, and needless to say this post from a member of the visual effects team had my eyes glued to the screen for quite a bit. So if you’re a BSG fan, check it out.

Now for the lame-o news. Battlestar Galactica (2004) starts showing today in Singapore on the Arts Central channel. If you haven’t started on BSG, this is a good time to do so. However, if you’re like me and are waiting to catch the final season of BSG, join me in my big yawn at Mediacorp, FHM, and Fridae.com (don’t ask me; I have no idea why a gay personals network is touted as a supporter of BSG).

To Mediacorp, I say: impress me by airing The Wire.
